A farmer in Sabatia Kakamega had a rough time yesterday morning after he was spotted by residents pushing a cow out of his bedroom. The man tried to explain that he slept with his cow due to the increased cattle theft in the area but had hard time convincing the angry mob. A pupil sitting for her KCPE exams delivered this morning while
writing her first paper at a private school in Kitengela.
The 14 year old delivered normally
and finished her exam at her hospital her with her baby by her side.
Doctors say that she was brought in
after she went into labour while in the exam room and gave birth to a bouncing
baby boy weighing 3kg within a few minutes.
The two are in a good condition and
the girl will sit for her papers at the hospital as she recovers.
Her mother said that she will take
care of the baby while she finishes her studies.

A fifteen year old boy has been taken to custody after raping his grandmother to a coma then leaving her and going to sleep in his room. The locals of Mpumude village found the victim Scovia Nafula in a coma after cries of help from the suspect's 7 year old brother, identified as Patrick Bwire. The young boy narrated how his older brother, Nelson Wanjala, came home drunk and demanded for sex from their grandmother who had allegedly been calling him "husband".According to the young brother, Nelson pushed her grandmother to the ground and raped her repeatedly before leaving her and going to sleep in his room.
