A 14 year old girl in Elgeyo Marakwet took her life away just after sitting the last paper of her
KCPE Examinations. The incident
left the residents in shock as it was not clear as to why the girl decided to take her life away. His schoolmates confirmed that the girl
finished her exams and was in a hurry to get home claiming that she was happy to have finished primary education. She ended up hanging herself on a tree using her school sweater. Some claim that maybe the girl was afraid of the would be results and decided to take her life away for fear that she would fail.
